Had a great conversation about partnerships with Thibault. He is interested in sitting down with Russ Richardson and Marybeth to discuss all of the different initiatives. They’re currently looking at. Once to evaluate where there might be some synergies to combine/bundle. He confirmed that he is a big fan and promoter of a company called Solink. Solink is a vision, intelligent solution that machine Q is currently partnering with. Follow up will be for Russ and Marybeth to go meet with Thibault.

I got the skinny on the Del edge compute decision. I think we already knew this, but ultimately the use cases and the ROI with existing use cases today just isn’t there. They got information from Google who is working with McDonald’s that the McDonald’s edge compute push is primarily due to their international play. They don’t have the same needs for the international play and the current used cases that exist for this edge. Computer solution are not valuable enough and don’t move the needle at this point in time.
